Shoulder pain can occur through sudden injury or repetitive movements of the arm above shoulder height, with the rotator cuff being the most common site of injury. Our treatments will seek to balance the forces through the shoulder. Shoulder pain is also associated with neck pain and headaches. If further investigations are required, such as an ultrasound, Shore Osteopaths can refer you to the appropriate radiologist.
Taz Darragh graduated from the Master of Osteopathy degree having completed a research thesis on shoulder pain. He found that a combination of both osteopathic technique and exercise gained the best results for the individual.
I have never felt as desperate as I did, at the time I approached you for assistance with my shoulder pain – it had become incapacitating! Thank you so much for the excellent work you did addressing my injured shoulder. Your gentle, considerate approach gave me the confidence to return – even at the height of my pain. I will recommend your services with confidence to friends, family and colleagues. - Lindy Thomas, Psychologist
